Even though they’ve been through a lot throughout on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards have had a pretty steady (and loyal) relationship for the past couple seasons. As the only original cast members left on the show, it make sense that they would stick together.

Unfortunately, that is not what we will see when RHOBH returns for Season 8. Both OG’s discuss the strain on their friendship and where they stand today.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lisa described the upcoming episodes as “tumultuous,” which sounds interesting for the viewers even though it’s obviously negative for LVP.

The news of friendship woes between Lisa and Kyle isn’t too shocking ever since the Season 8 trailer was released. At one point, Kyle tells Lisa “You didn’t like that it wasn’t about you for a minute.” Erika Girardi remarks, “This whole thing boils down to three bitches that are competitive over friendship,” right before a clip with Lisa’s car pulling away from Dorit Kemsley and Kyle as she tells them, “I’m going home to my husband who would rather spend time with me tonight than you would.”

Lisa did admit “Normally I have my cool, and I kind of lost it that day. ” Kyle shared,” It was so out of character for her to let her guard down like that, that’s why my mouth was literally hanging open.”

The Entertainment Weekly article says “things take a turn about halfway through the season.” Considering that this article comes across as a joint interview, I’m not too worried about the state of their friendship.

Lisa explained, “You know, we have a great relationship, but like any relationship, it has its problems. Like any marriage, or you know, partnership in life or business, you have your struggles, but then you come through it. I think what we have supersedes, you know, the negativity.” Kyle said, “I love Lisa.” She also pointed out, “I mean, Lisa and I, obviously, we’re very close. We’re the closest of the bunch and I could never do the show without her. You know, we keep it fun.” So it’s all good these days, but there are some bumps along the way- but what was the issue? Are Kyle and Lisa in a love triangle with Dorit over friendship?

The Real Housewives taglines are a huge deal. Anything short of iconic just isn’t good enough. With so many cities, Housewives, and seasons, it is tough to be original these days. Even so, the pressure increases each season.

Season 8 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres tonight, but the taglines have already been released. Some of the ladies really hit the mark and others not so much…

People shared  the RHOBH Season 8 taglines. Kyle Richards has been a part of this show since Season 1 and this point we already know what to expect from her: something about  real Kyle is even though she’s super rich with a mention of friends and family thrown in. This year her tagline is “In this town, fame and money come and go, but friends should not.”

That sounds an awful lot like some of her previous taglines : “In a town full of phonies, I’m not afraid to be me”  “I’m from this town. I know what’s real and I know what’s fake,” “In Beverly Hills you can be anything, but it’s most important to be yourself,” and  “I’m an expert on luxury, and I can always spot a fake.” I didn’t list out every tagline she’s ever had, but I’m sure you get the point since nothing has changed: Kyle is rich and Kyle is real. She will always try to radiate those “I’m still Jenny from the block” vibes, but that block is somewhere in Beverly Hills instead of a neighborhood in the Bronx.

OG cast member Lisa Vanderpump made it clear that she thinks she is the queen of this show with “The queen of diamonds always has an ace up her sleeve.” Last year her tagline was, “The crown is heavy, darlings. So just leave it where it belongs.” Once gain, nothing has really changed.

As expected, Lisa Rinna played up her infamous “own it” catchphrase:  “I don’t have to buy it, ‘cause I already own it.” As polarizing as Rinna is, you have to admit that is a very good tagline: it’s relevant, succinct, and clever.

Dorit Kemsley’s tagline is “I believe in an excess of everything… except moderation.” That makes sense and it does apply to Dorit, it’s just not telling us much about her story lines this season. Pretty much everyone on this show spends lavishly, so any of the women could have used this one.

After a whole season of Dorit and Vanderpump telling Erika Girardi that she’s “cold” and describing her as an “ice queen,” Erika used their insults to her advantage with “Some people call me cold, but that’s not ice. It’s diamonds.” Now we just need to know if that’s Erika Girardi talking or her pop star alter ego Erika Jayne. Either way, I’m sure they both have enough jewelry to validate that statement.

And then there’s the new girl Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave with “Having the best isn’t important to me, but being my best is.” That’s a great quote and I’m sure a lot of Pinterest users have saved some version of it on a “motivational quotes” board, but it’s not giving us a real sense of who this woman is or what she will bring to the show. She had some music metaphors to work with as John Mellencamp’s daughter, but the tagline she ended up with was pretty generic. The fandom needs more than that.

It took a lot of time and a lot of effort, but things have truly turned around for Kim Richards. After many years of legal issues and struggles with sobriety, Kim has completed her Alcoholics Anonymous classes and now she is done with all of her community service requirements.

Kim’s 2015 arrest has been haunting her for nearly three years at this point and now that this final piece is complete, Kim can move forward and focus on something that she truly enjoys like being a grandmother or taking care of her horses.

In a recent article, TMZ confirmed that Kim completed her community service requirements after her 2015 arrest when she was drunk and “allegedly” kicked a police officer.

TMZ reports that the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star  was originally sentenced to thirty days of later, but her sentence got cut back to 450 hours of community service and completing AA classes.

In September, Kim still had 270 hours left, so she made some significant progress in a pretty short amount of time. This is a major step in the right direction for the ex-reality TV star.

YAY! The best holiday gift ever is Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills being back. Lisa Vanderpump bring your diamonds… oh, and also the ace from your Birkin, because we have much to discuss.

One thing I love about this show is that I can always expect Kyle Richards to be not only badly and unfortunately dressed (what is she thinking with all these muumuu-sized sleeves – just wear a kaftan already!), but also grasping for acceptance. Only Kyle would get excited about swinging a Birkin around years after everyone has gotten over them. And yes, it’s a lovely color, and it’s still obviously an extremely expensive bag, but girl, just like we have MOVED ON from Kim Richards drama, we have moved on from Birkin worship. Except Kyle has done neither. We do not need an opening episode that drags Rambles up from the dregs, but apparently Kyle thinks we do.

Actually, my favorite part of the whole episode was Kyle’s chance meeting with Harry Hamlin in the dark canyons surrounding Bel Air, where they both happened to be ‘hiking’ at the same time. Intriguing…coincidence! There near a Joshua Tree (do they even have those in LA) Harry cornered Kyle to hiss at her that Ramble’s Blue Bunnies need to stay out of Lisa Rinna’s Beverly Hills lane.

Kyle was so spooked and unnerved that she never told a soul… until the RHOBH cameras were rolling again! But that too was just a coincidence – she’s had months of intensive therapy for PTSD before she became brave enough to tell her story about Harry Hamlin nightmares haunting her caviar dreams, because you guys: Kyle just wants eeerrrrrrrrybody to get along and for there to be peace on earth and goodwill to flapping lips and former Hollywood hunks.

But let’s back up, I do always get ahead of myself, don’t I? Reacapping a premier episode – there’s just so much excitement to cover. Like all the new looks! Like Erika Jayne‘s opening Disney villain/Maleficent costume. Mirror, Mirror on the wall – who’s the bitchiest of them all?

I love LVP’s tagline. Aces. I also love that her designer heel accidentally knocked a glass of champagne into Kyle’s new Birkin on the private plane, and Kyle’s society wife facade dropped into ‘Big Kathy latenight at the Beverly Hills Hotel’ faster than you could say “I’m sorry” and Kyle stated calling LVP a “bitch” and an “ass” for ruining her precious purse. All LVP did was laugh as Kyle’s electric toothbrush (WTF) was dumped onto the immaculate carpet of this plane, and Dorit Kemsley gingerly picked it up like “girl… wha?”

This season, the ladies are coming with their A-Game that’s for sure. Erika Jayne has blown into a full-blown enterprise and permanently ditched Erika Girardi, attorney’s wife. No more Ms. Polite Lips! She wants everything and she wants all of it now. Preferably in her mouth. Her DSL (Dick Sucking Lips) are open for business whether it be a book, DWTS, any number of embarrassing music videos, or shredding a Housewife with her teeth (without smudging her lipstick). Erika knows she’s made it because SNL parodied her. Tom is supportive, albeit absent, for all of it. Funny – I thought DSL were Lipa’s thing? Is there gonna be a incident over who owns the right to enormous mouths?

Erika other interview look is some sort of double pony-tailed anime Lolita, and um, well it’s not my favorite! It’s not Dorit‘s full Dynasty drag with the giant tousled side-swept bob (SO KILLER) paired with the metallic turtleneck. I couldn’t find a shot of that, sadly.

Dorit has spent the summer in Miami while her home was being renovated. She is amazed by how much her children flourished when she actually spent time with them. Like Jagger, he’s speaking now. Imagine! Parenting – who wouldda thought?! This has inspired Dorit to become friends with other young LA moms.. Like Teddi Mellencamp, whom she knows through a mutual friend. I’m not trying to be mean, but only in LA Housewives does a mid-40’s woman with two toddlers constitute a ‘young mom’.

Dorit, though, anxious to prove she is young and hip for the Mommy & Me Dope Beats-A-Saurus class (conducted in Teddi’s backyard by two guys and a Magic Mike animal puppet), rocks her best Da Brat hair featuring double-braids. It’s not a win for me, but luckily Dorit has a lot of hair ground, and I love that it’s always changing Real Housewives Of Atlanta-style.

Dorit and Teddi hit it off immediately, so naturally she must introduce Teddi to her other friend who is practically a grandmother – LVP. I say this with no shade as LVP is actually begging Pandora to reproduce RIGHT NOW and until then she will adopt all the animals in sight. She’s moved on to horses, and not just minis anymore – full-sized horses, which LVP is riding daily, and traveling with?! Like internationally? We’ve seen her try to get a mini pony on a plane, but an actual horse?

This is actually what Teddi and LVP have in common: Teddi is a former professional equestrian. Now she’s a fitness expert. John Mellencamp is also her dad, but despite growing up in Hilton Head, SC, where none of the homes cost less then $1m, Teddi swears she’s completely down to earth and knows the value of a dollar. And clearly the value of a calorie – did you see her legs? Girl is RIPPED. Teddi has two kids, Cruz, 3, and Slate, 5, and met her husband Edwin as a one-night-stand. She actually thought his name was “Edward” until he became a two-night stand, so now here they are – all names accounted for!

Kyle has also had a busy summer doing her sitcom and taking a break from RHOBH drama, but now she’s ready to jump back in with both Louboutins and a Birkin battering ram. Since Erika, Dorit, and Lipsa all share a birthday week, Kyle decides the perfect way to bring the group back together is with a girls trip to Vegas. When she broaches the subject to LVP, she’s mildly amused by the concept, but agrees to come. Kyle swears she just wants everyone to get along. No one will get in a fight on their birthday in Vegas. No, never that!

While Teddi is trying her dearest to raise down to earth children; Lipsa believes she’s succeeded. Oh Lipsa… may your delusions never leave you. I know I shouldn’t wish the crazies to continue being crazy, but with her I cannot resist. Lipsa’s daughters are now both models signed by IMG, which is her their dream, and she gleefully announces that she is their momager. Big Kathy‘s Big Pun style! Watch it, Kris Jenner because Lipsa is all about that hustle for them, which has given her a reprieve from hustling for herself. So how long before Delilah is doing a Depends commercial too?

Because the girls travel constantly and are always in high-flung locales being told they’re beautiful, Lipsa’s goal is to keep them humble, which is why she has an IV vitamin team she heard about from Yolanda Hadid’s bathrobe come over for mother-daughter infusions. Delilah even gets her “pimp” injected with cortisone, afterwards they’re getting their nails done and then it’s on to another job in NYC. Oh yes, I see ‘down to earth’ written all over their futures. Down to earth like Paris Hilton circa 2005.

Lipsa is pimpmomager-ing, but Dorit is just momming. She’s finally back in her Beverly Hills home and loving the renovations – although truth be told it looks pretty much exactly the same and just as basic. She’s thrilled though and PK is thrilled to be back on camera looking just as much like a poached pear as ever.

Dorit is not thrilled that once again she’ll have to face the demon that is Lipsa. And sooner rather than later because of Kyle’s reunification/Birthday trip to Vegas. Dorit still – rightfully – isn’t over Lisa’s suggestion that people were doing coke in her bathroom at a dinner party. There still hasn’t been an apology, but a private jet is a private jet, and a suite is a suite, and the reality show must go on!

Before the trip, Dorit meets Teddi for a drink and invites LVP. They hit it off like a house on fire, as LVP usually does with the new gals she assesses as ‘useful’ – or at least not ‘useless.’ Dorit is still confused about what’s going on with Erika after panty gate (boy does it burn me up to have to still be writing about this!), and LVP reveals that although she’s reached out to Erika many times, she never receives anything back – not even a text. Erika is too busy being cold as diamonds and just as precious with her DSL time!

Dorit is hoping the Vegas trip will lay any lingering drama to rest. Teddi looks shell-shocked by all the gossip and shady women as she accepts Dorit’s invitation into their lair and agrees to come to Vegas. It turns out Teddi’s birthday is right around the same time. Which means all these ladies are cancers… that’s so ironic. All this cancerous toxicity and gossip invading their lives. So, is LVP gonna bring her horse on that girl’s trip too?

At the Vegas airport, Kyle also pulls Camille Grammer into the fold, and Camille is just as lovely and aloof as ever. To assuage Dorit’s worries about an awkward private jet ride with Lipsa, Kyle reveals that Lisa may be stuck traveling with her daughters and skip the trip, but then right on cue she calls to let everyone know she’ll meet them in Vegas. Did anyone notice the thrill in the air at the promise of drama’s arrival?! (Sarcasm).

Speaking of issues, on the jet, Kyle and Lisa are clicking their heels together during takeoff (this somehow makes turbulence less stressful) and wishing a house would drop on someone’s head, when LVP knocks wine into Kyle’s Birkin. Kyle throws a full-fledged hissy and cries into her bag. Is that a omen for how this trip is gonna go? The plan for Vegas is drinks, clubs, and tipsy shopping. Erika loves tipsy shopping, but Teddi doesn’t like shopping period. A hush descends the group as everyone wonders why this strange interloping alien is in their midst and wonders if it’s rude to point out to her that she’s the wrong species.

Despite there being FOUR birthday girls on the trip, Kyle claims the presidential suite for herself, Camille, and LVP and shoves everyone else in the pedestrian regular suites. Kyle confides to her suite-mates that she’s actually a little anxious about seeing Lipsa, because as part of her therapeutic process for working past that dastardly Harry Hamlin meeting she must confront Lipsa about him. Maybe she can bring the blue bunny to ward off evil? Like as a talisman?

Then there is a knock at the door… it’s Lisa Riiiiiinnnnaaa, of course!

When Brandi Glanville left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she had more enemies than friends. That’s why it’s not surprising that she has been very vocal about her close relationships with her former costars Kim Richards and Yolanda Hadid for the past few years.

Brandi and Kim are still in touch, but Brandi and Yolanda? Not so much. Brandi is not pleased with the opinions that Yolanda expressed in her book.

During an episode of her Unfiltered With Brandi Glanville podcast, Brandi shared, “The truth of the matter is that I do speak to Kim quite often. In fact, she blew up my phone last night while I was trying to sleep.”

Then she revealed, “Unfortunately with Yolanda I’m actually really sad about this because I was such a good friend to her. I read her book and I felt like she was just lumped me in with the other women. I had been at her house over a dozen times – no cameras. I was always calling, checking in, and going over.”

Brandi explained, “When she and David [Foster] were getting a divorce, I was there. I was on the phone, I was at her place, and she was like ‘I’m not really friends with any of them.’” Ouch. That has to sting.

That wasn’t the only thing that bothered Brandi though. She said, “I give and I give and I give and I reach out, but it ultimately takes two to have a friendship.”

Then she went back to her grievances with the book: “I love her to death. I don’t appreciate her book because I put it on all my social media before I read it.” I’m sure she will skim through read a book before she posts about it the next time one of her “friends” becomes an author.

It looks like this friendship is done since Brandi said, “I am an amazing friend, was an amazing friend, so I’m just really bummed that her recollection is so unclear.”

She continued, “I will say that I went to her house without cameras at least twenty times. You want to know how many time she’s been to my house without cameras: zero. It sucks. Reciprocation in friendship is key. You have to give up at some point. I am not going to kiss your f-cking ass forever.”

Even though Kim Richards wasn’t a “Housewife” for the last two seasons of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, all roads led to Kim. She was the constant topic of conversation whether she was a full-time cast member or not. Season 8 marks the first time that Kim will be making zero appearances on RHOBH.

She went out on top though: Kim reached a peak level of pettiness when she handed Lisa Rinna that cellophane-wrapped bunny rabbit stuffed animal during the Season 7 reunion. Sure, it wasn’t a positive moment, but it will never be forgotten. Now I just want to know what the ladies will talk about in her absence.

In a red carpet interview with E! News some RHOBH cast members discussed the first year without Kim’s presence. Her sister Kyle Richards admitted, “You know, it’s a little strange not to do the show with my sister, but I respect that she needed to step away.”

Kyle explained, “She is enjoying her grandson. I think it’s best for her actually this time. It’s fine. It was hard because we started the show together and even though we would fight sometimes, we also had fun and laughed together. It was very weird in the beginning, but then I see her with her grandson and I’m like ‘Oh. OK, I get it.’ She spends a lot of time with him.” Kim is probably a lot happier these days hanging with her grandson, taking care of her horses, and avoiding Lisa Rinna.

Kim’s fellow OG cast member Camille Grammer said, “It’s sad. I miss Kim. I miss Kim not being around because she’s been around since day one. I like Kim and I only wish her the best. I did miss her this year.”

Lisa Vanderpump echoed the sentiments of many RHOBH viewers when she said, “In an ideal world, I would have loved for the original cast to stay together.” Same, Lisa. SAME. SAME. SAME.

She continued, “People change and things change in people’s lives. Maybe that’s not the ideal situation, but there is some kind of poignancy really about missing them and it’s nice to have Camille back. Maybe it wasn’t right for Kim to even make guest appearances. Maybe she just didn’t feel that it’s what she wanted to do.”

Clearly this was Kim’s decision and not anyone else’s. Kim’s presence guarantees a story line, so there’s no way she wasn’t welcomed back. It’s definitely in her best interest to step away from the drama and the Rinna-spread rumors.

Erika Girardi, who became a full-time cast member during the first season that Kim started making guest appearance, shared, “I root for Kim and I’m happy that she’s doing well. Kim was one of the original Housewives and I’m sure she will be missed.”

The Season 8 premiere episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was loaded with subtle shade directed toward the one and only Erika Jayne, courtesy of Lisa Vanderpump, and her self-proclaimed “British humor.” On the bright side, Erika Girardi was spared from the insults.

Lisa didn’t say anything particularly scandalous, but there were enough subtle digs and “jokes,” Andy Cohen couldn’t help bringing it up (multiple times) when Erika was one of the guests on Watch What Happens Live. Erika did her best to skate around the questions with short, vague answers accompanied by facial expressions that conveyed her true opinions, but she eventually broke and acknowledged Andy’s constant questions about LVP.

Andy asked Erika if she was surprised to see comments about her when she watched the first episode. Erika emoted zero feelings when she said, “No, I’m not surprised at all.” Don’t forget: She may be cold, but that’s not ice. It’s diamonds.

Andy continued to push and asked Erika if she was bothered by anything she saw. Erika just said “No.” He pushed her again to answer the same question and Erika added, “I’m un-bothered because I’m being authentic. It’s how I really feel.” Could Andy be foreshadowing some drama between Lisa and Erika this season?

Andy took a break from the LVP-focused line of questioning when he brought up Lisa Rinna’s husband Harry Hamlin confronting Kyle Richards about her sister Kim Richards’ presence in the group when they ran into each other hiking.  I had no idea that hiking could produce so much drama, but I’ll add that to the lengthy list of reasons why I refuse to partake.

Erika shared, “Oh, I knew that story. What do I think about it? I don’t wait to give it away because of the next episode, but you’ll see. I’m friends with everyone there, so I think it got handled perfectly.”

What was Erika’s impression of the new girl Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave? Erika stumbled for a second with an elongated”Ummmmm.” Then she said, “You know, she’s cool”- with the lowest level of enthusiasm possible. This was also right after they played a clip with Teddi describing Erika as a “cool girl” in a negative way – so it’s safe to say that Erika was shading the newbie.

A caller wanted to know about the last time Erika saw RHOBH alum Yolanda Hadid. Erika shared, “I have not seen Yolanda. She’s super busy, but I was texting with her yesterday.”

Andy asked Erika if she feels like it’s a good season for her and it felt like a pretty leading question if you ask me. Then again, I felt like he was leading her this whole episode with the shade-inducing questions. Erika said, “I think I’m OK. I didn’t walk out needing therapy or anything. I enjoy being on Housewives. There’s a lot of great things about it.”

Andy tried – yet again – to get Erika to shade Lisa Vanderpump when he asked, “Were you surprised that LVP didn’t know what ‘Pat the puss’ was?” As expected, Erika had the briefest answer possible: “No.”

He put in one last effort though. He asked, “Do you think she was joking or digging?” Erika could not control her facial expressions, but she did answer: “I don’t care to comment.” And a second later she declared, “She knows exactly what she’s doing.” Yes, she does. She is one of two remaining OG cast members, after all.

The glitz, the glamour, the gowns – it’s all back on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! Lisa Rinna is also back, but this time around she’s trying to replace her role of resident villain with a new title: Momager. Lisa’s daughters, Delilah Belle Hamlin and Amelia Gray Hamlin, are forging ahead in the fashion world next to the likes of Yolanda Hadid’s assorted offspring. And Lisa hopes to use her trademark hustling skills to milk every dime out of them help them succeed.

Lisa cheers, “2017 has been quite an exciting time around the Hamlin household since both of our girls, Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray, have been signed by IMG Models Worldwide. Time certainly flies, because not so long ago the girls were making toast at our local deli!”

In another Yolanda parallel, Lisa decided to make IV-drips the first riveting storyline in her “journey” this season. (Although, we demand white bathrobes be worn next time!)

She quips, “Needless to say, staying busy can take a physical toll, and the girls have found themselves under the weather. Amelia was sick, and I didn’t have time to get sick myself, so I was more than happy to have the Beverly Hills Concierge come over, pump us all full of vitamins, and call it a day. They perked right up and off we went to New York!”

Perhaps in homage to her trademark sh*t stirring ways, Lisa explains her attempt to turn over a new leaf. “I have also realized how important it is to be a role model for my girls. They need to see their mom happy, positive, and empowering of other women. It’s so easy to be offended and reactive of others behavior, and that’s not the route I want to take anymore. Especially since my girls have embarked on their new career where it’s so important to remain grounded and self-confident.”

In other words, Lisa can’t be asking people about coke dens at dinner parties if she wants to make a buck in the modeling world. Right? Theoretically. Allegedly. Probably.

“I’m excited to embark on this new journey of kindness, understanding, and empowerment of women,” Lisa continues in her blog, “and what better time to get started on my new mantra than in scorching hot Las Vegas while celebrating all of my fellow Cancer Crabs.”

As if setting up her new positive image for the season ahead, Lisa closes with by stating, “That was then and this is now.”

Not much happened during the Season 8 premiere episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but it was glorious to see the ladies from the 90210 back in their element, living lavishly and throwing shade.

Lisa Vanderpump made sure to remind us all that she is an OG cast member and the queen of the show. Her tag line alluded to this (yet again): “The queen of diamonds always has an ace up her sleeve.” She also had some shady comments up her sleeve, but she was very subtle with her delivery. She really is a pro at this.

Lisa continued to be the queen of subtle shade in her (extremely verbose) Bravo blog post. After reminding us all (for the millionth time) that she has been on this show from the beginning, she wrote, “What has withstood the test of time would be the intricate friendship between Kyle [Richards] and myself. It blossomed and flourished as we bonded over many hilarious situations, clung to each other, supportively chastised our differences, and at times floundered as third parties often intervened.” The first person who comes to mind is Lisa’s best-friend-turned-enemy Brandi Glanville. More recently, I’m thinking of that clip from the trailer with Lisa speeding away from Kyle and Dorit Kemsley to hang out with her husband because they didn’t want to hang out with her.

On a nicer note, Lisa added, “Both of our lives have matured as we have cultivated our passions, raised our children, and immersed ourselves in projects we could only have dreamt of.”

Lisa continued the niceties with a shout out for Erika Girardi followed by compliments for Lisa Rinna’s  daughters and Dorit’s son: “One of the joys of riding this train has been to observe the growth of our friends, to see Erika fulfilling her ambitions, to witness the children mature with Jagger talking and Lisa’s beautiful girls developing their modeling careers. It’s all documented and a wonderful story to cherish.”

Then Lisa got to the new girl Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave: “So as we venture forward, all is well, and we are introduced to Miss Teddi, whom I believe to be a genuine, down-to-earth young woman who is refreshingly honest and that holds steadfast in her resolve as she encounters various situations. But, as often happens when a new cog is entered into the complex machinations of a group of women, things can rapidly change…” Well yes, that’s what happens whenever a new lady joins the show.

The Season 8 premiere episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was just like the premiere episode of any other Real Housewives show: not much happened, but it’s nice to “catch up with” the cast members that you missed during the off-season.

We got to “meet” the newest Housewife Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. She has a famous father, a very L.A. career (she’s a wellness accountability coach), and she definitely looks the part. The only thing that is a little awkward about her casting is that she wasn’t genuinely friends with anyone before she joined the show, so it will be interesting to see how she fits in with the ladies.

Teddi opened up about the episode in her first Bravo blog post. She wrote, “I love spending time with my family and am always looking to make new friends with moms who have similarly aged kids. So when a mutual friend suggested I invite Dorit [Kemsley] and the adorable Jagger to The BeatBuds’ music class, I said of course!” A mutual friend? I’m pretty sure that was just a casting director who arranged that meeting, but after Dorit got so much shit last season for her army of nannies, it made perfect sense to attend this kids music class. They kill two birds with one stone: Teddi gets an introduction and Dorit gets to improve her image while she spends nanny-free camera time with her kid.

Teddi continued, “Dorit and I hit it off immediately, and the conversation flowed nicely, so when she told me about Lisa Vanderpump and her love of horses, I knew I had to meet her as well.” Yes, the love of horses and that contractual obligation to be at cast events. Teddi also remarked, “Sometimes I think I like horses more than people!” And I’m sure this is a thought she had a lot while filming with this group of women.

She wrote, “Lisa Vanderpump was so warm and welcoming, and I think our sense of humor is very similar, although she probably can get away with more with that accent.” She can and she does. LVP disguises a lot of insults with her constantly referenced “British humor.”

Teddi continued, “The two of them wasted no time filling me in on some of the girls. I listened and gave a bit of advice as if it were me in the situation, but I definitely wasn’t going to allow that to cloud my judgement. Besides, I’ll be able to make my own impressions when I meet the rest of the girls—in Vegas! I thought it was so great of Dorit and Lisa Vanderpump to invite me on this trip and share in celebrating my birthday.”

The new girl admitted, “I already get a bit anxious meeting new people, and I tend to try and observe first and not force friendships, but these ladies move fast.” I wonder if that observation included watching previous episodes of the show.

Teddi shared, “When I met Kyle [Richards], Camille [Grammer], and Erika [Girardi] at the airport, they all seemed nice and open. I may have lost them a bit when Dorit revealed my dislike for shopping, but hey, at least Lisa Vanderpump now has somebody to carry her bags. And from what she says about me, looks like I may be carrying them naked.”

Teddi concluded, “There’s a lot of underlying tension within this group from previous issues and it starts to get resolved next week when Lisa Rinna joins us in Vegas. But new issues also start to arise, and they definitely don’t stay in Vegas.” Of course they don’t. Those issues will end up on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

With Christmas fast-approaching, there is so much to enjoy from decorating, from holiday shows to even turning up with friends. Your favorite reality stars celebrated the holidays a little bit early and shared some photos just in time for this week’s Instagram Roundup.

The Real Housewives of New York stars Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Tinsley Mortimer gathered for the annual Christmas party at Dorinda Medley’s Berkshires home. Where was Carole Radziwill, though? Maybe she’s the one who took the group photo. Otherwise it would be a real shame if she missed out on a Dorinda-hosted event after she “cooked, decorated, and made it nice.”

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alums Yolanda Hadid and Adrienne Maloof shared photos of decorating their Christmas trees. Yolanda had to hop on the couch to decorate hers. Adrienne’s Grinch-inspired tree is beyond massive and I have no idea how anyone was able to decorate it and how long that even took.

Little Women NY cast members Lila Call and Jason Perez enjoyed the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Even though Brandi Glanville hasn’t been a Real Housewife for a few years, the Real Housewives drama still follows her. She was in that ridiculous lawsuit with Joanna Krupa for years for a joke she made about Joanna’s alleged odor .

Brandi’s best-friend-turned-enemy Lisa Vanderpump was even brought into the lawsuit as well. Brandi hasn’t mentioned anything about Joanna– probably because she is not allowed to- but Brandi has a major bone to pick with Lisa.

In an episode of her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast which was an episode that was also shared on Reality Steve, Brandi claimed, “The only way that woman and I will ever be friends again is if she cuts me a check for half a million dollars.”

Why is that? Brandi continued, “She’s a snake in the grass. She’s a liar. Being able to lie under oath and cost me that money, knowing she’s lying, is just… It’s not good enough that I’m not on the show anymore. Now you want to ruin my livelihood. All of my savings are gone because of this one lie and she knows. It’s just exhausting to me.”

Brandi claimed, “We will never be friends again unless she breaks out her check book. Honestly, her time will come. Karma’s a bitch and I happen to know it’s coming soon.” What does that last part mean? Is it an empty threat or is there some Lisa drama on the horizon?

Brandi also discussed the time she slapped Lisa during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast trip to Amsterdam. Brandi shared, “So we were in Amsterdam and we were actually getting along. I was like ‘Let’s make out. Kiss me.’ She was like ‘Darling! No!’ But she really likes the attention. And I go ‘If you don’t kiss me, I’m going to slap you.’ I barely smacked her face and she’s like ‘Oh my lord. No one has ever touched me like that in my life.’ She was like ‘I will kill and bury you.'” Why wasn’t that last part on the show? I would have loved to see Lisa threatening anyone with that British accent.

Brandi continued, “She was like ‘No one in my life has ever touched me this way.’ Then a few reunions later, she’s saying she was in a physically abusive relationship, so I’m like wait bitch, what is it? She’s just a liar. I refuse to kiss her ass like everyone else does and that’s why she takes everyone else back.” Damn. She also insisted, “At the end of the day, I did slap her. It was more of a love tap. I was just trying to kiss her.”

We are only one episode into this season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , so it’s a little tough to know what we should expect from the rest of the season. As per usual, we were treated to some (unnecessary) discussion of last season’s drama, but then again, I’m sure that some of these women refuse to hang with each other unless they are contractually obligated to, so that might have genuinely been their first time to discuss last season. Nevertheless, I’m ready to move on to some fresh drama.

Lisa Rinna was the most buzzed-about cast member during that first episode. She wasn’t there for the beginning of the Las Vegas trip, but her arrival was highly discussed- and not in a good way. Kyle Richards was ready to confront Rinna after Harry Hamlin brought up Kim Richards while they were hiking. Dorit Kemsley isn’t over Rinna’s beef with PK Kemsley. And Lisa Vanderpump cannot help taking digs at Rinna- just like she always has. It would make sense to assume that most of the drama revolves around Rinna this season, but Rinna is actually pointing the finger at the other Lisa.

While she was on the red carpet for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 premiere party, all of the cast members spoke to Extra about the season. For the most part, no one actually revealed anything, but Rinna came through with some shade and she had no issue calling anyone out by name.

Rinna claimed, “Of course Lisa Vanderpump makes all the drama. Everything comes from her. She causes all the problems. Scene done. That’s it.” Vanderpump has always been a low key pot stirrer, so that isn’t new. Everyone just seems to afraid to confront or, or when they do they eventually fall back to being an ass kisser because it’s just too much work being her enemy. Is LVP up to her usual tricks or is she more out in the open with the shit stirring this season? Personally, I’m hoping for the latter.

The ladies hit up Vegas together and things don’t go smoothly. “Teddi’s job as an accountability coach leads to questions amongst the group. When Lisa Vanderpump takes Erika to task for not responding whenever she reaches out to spend time with her, their friendship is called into question. Kyle and Dorit take issue with Lisa Rinna and confront her atop the High Roller—a 550 foot tall ferris wheel overlooking the Las Vegas strip. Teddi feels iced out in her attempts to get to know Erika.”

Viva Las Vegas, right?! Everyone was being backed into walls on last night’s Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills – from Lisa Rinna in a Ferris Wheel (with a bar); to Erika Girardi into a designer makeup counter. Won’t you just be Lisa Vanderpump‘s friend?!

It’s dark and scary days as Lipsa is among them. Dorit Kemsley is afraid. What will Lipsa’s evil, vicious, devil’s tongue say next?! Will she be hiding a Blue Bunny in Kyle Richards‘ Blue Birkin? Or will she come in peace?

It turns out the latter: Lisa Rinna has had an epiphany – she ain’t gonna do bad no more. Instead she will be “nice” Lisa Rinna. Which means be polite, think before you speak, and pretend like all your past bad deeds never happened. For Dorit this is a welcome surprise – although she doesn’t quite trust this ‘new’ Lipsa.

Over dinner, Dorit and LVP joke about how to make Lipsa pay for her sins, so we all know this nicey-nicey won’t last!

Lisa Rinna‘s arrival was so exciting she even eclipsed Erika’s “Russian Hooker” outfit. Erika basically went to dinner dressed like an extra from Janet Jackson’s Nasty years, and I don’t know – I appreciate that Erika is so committed to her ‘glam,’ but I just can’t get worked up about it. Is it me? Am I not enough of a queen?

So what do we think of Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave!? Dorit awkwardly introduces Teddi’s relationship to her famous father by using John’s very outdated “Cougar Mellencamp” moniker. For someone whose husband is in the music business, Dorit should know better, but PK is in the 80’s music business and seems about as up to date as the word “phat.” Anyway, Teddi is no cougar. Mellencamp or otherwise. Instead she is an “Accountability Coach.” That’s like the most Housewife non-job ever. It’s on par with “I run a clothing line which I don’t design, conceptualize, produce, or wear.”

What Teddi does is text-motivate people to stop being fat. This is because Teddi has always struggled with her weight and has been as heavy as 200 lbs. As she reveals this, the ladies are riveted – they’ve heard, but never seen (!) this urban myth about a person who isn’t a size 2, and they’re not sure they can believe her. LVP is so enraptured she treats Teddi to an Eileen Davidson-style inquisition but can’t even muster snarky comments in response. Serious stuff, peeps! On Real Housewives cancer can be questioned with reckless abandon and much sarcasm, but pants size…

Take note Andy: If you want to shut-up a room full of Housewives, confess that you were once overweight!

Other than this, Teddi is sort of … un-fun. Was she hired only because she shares a birthday weekend with Dorit, Lipsa, Camille Grammer, and Erika?

In the midst of the Renaissance of Lisa Rinna, Adrienne Maloof also appeared from the dead, but considering that she’s pretty much always looked like one of the undead, no one paid this other ghost in their midst much attention. I’m only reminded that Adrienne was there because, in case you’ve forgotten, her family owns The Palms and one cannot mention Adrienne without plugging one of her family’s 200,046 businesses. Shockingly, it seems Kyle has violated some sort of Bravo pact because no one is hauled to The Palms to do PR. I suppose that’s what you get for being a subterranean Housewives extra.

Instead, Kyle drags them to Tao, where they are the oldest people there by approximately all the years since Camille’s dance moves were popular on MTV. That doesn’t stop them from resurrecting these dance moves. The very ones that snared Sir Kelsey Grammer of Chronic Philandering Boulevard. Kyle even has happy birthday messages featuring photos of every birthday girl over the club’s giant TV screen. In a true lack of shadiness, she did not list anyone’s age, but she did throw up a pic of Lipsa in a bikini.

That bikini came back to haunt Kyle in the flesh the next day when Lipsa knocked on her door. Lipsa aged 50+ looking 20-something in her bikini is enough to make Kyle eat all her words. And Lisa Rinna’s daughter’s $235 Wagyu steak too. Oh yes, Lisa + parenting = FAIL. She claims to be on a mission to raise down-to-earth, sensible children, yet turns them loose in NYC with her credit card and allows them to spend $200+ on ONE DINNER, that Delilah literally shit out mere hours later because the finer things upset her stomach. Instead of taking the card away, Lipsa just smirked out of FaceTime range.

Meanwhile, Dorit calls PK for a little budgeting advice. Her plans for the day include gambling, followed by shopping, so her budget is “no more than one million”… Monopoly dollars. Dorit translates this into wearing what appears to be Hermes PJs and throwing down $5,000 on a roulette table, alongside a 10 am Vodka Soda. Erika was also there, wearing her Welcome To The Jungle sweatsuit and came ready to Tiger Mom Dorit into spending all PK’s dollarz. Erika loves gambling and it’s a black hole anti-time continuum where nothing and no one matters. Sounds promising!

For some odd reason, they invited Teddi to join them – to hold them accountable, perhaps? – because Teddi is not about spending money. Or throwing caution to the wind. She wins $800 on the first slot and is then out. Carefully hoarding her little stack of chips and claiming she needs to save them for her Hostess Cupcakes fund. Teddi had a rich and famous father, but the closest she came to that lifestyle was Famous Amos cookies in her studio apartment.

This rankles Erika, who seems resentful, and not to be mean, because I want to give the lady a chance to redeem her cut to the cooch shorts from last episode that would have Kenya Moore hollering “SECURITY” (cause holy yeast infection Batman!), but if Teddi doesn’t like exercising excessive spending or extravagance – WHY IS SHE ON THIS SHOW? Teddi turns her nose up right quick at Dorit winning, then losing $4,000 and Erika trying to convince them to blow more. But, at least Dorit and Erika finally had a break-thru bonding moment; a charming coming of middle age tale about winning and losing, but learning the value of true friendship!

Then, LVP arrived to quickly scoot Teddi over to the pool with the boring ladies, so she could corner Erika on a balcony and threaten her with a good friendship. Do not react dismissively to LVP’s texts, cause she will hound you like the dogs she loves!

Talk about awkward – LVP squeezed Erika into an awkward hug and decided since Erika and Dorit are now getting on, Erika owes her a friendship too. LVP literally demanded an explanation as to why Erika doesn’t text her with the right amount of gusto. Cause duh – Erika is too busy hanging out with sycophantic ‘queens’ who are totally kosher with her “what up, bitch” veneer that she doesn’t need love. LVP will not accept that; if Erika is going to be friends with her friends, it’s a package deal.

Erika tries to make it right the best way she knows how – by buying LVP some $200 face cream. I dunno if that’s gonna smooth everything over enough to Vanderpump’s liking. I mean, let’s be honest here: when it comes to LVP she’s as transparent as those lace blouses she favors – everyone must do their due diligence to suck up, and if not, she will pounce in the most unlikely of places, to remind you.

Also – Lisa’s blouses are an abomination. That one she wore on the Ferris Wheel with the Elizabethan Ruff? If she wants to subtly decree herself queen, maybe go a little more obvious like the crown of roses Erika has in her very ill-advised interview segment. I don’t think seniority is really the thing LVP is going for though…

Backing up though, LVP has conned them all into getting on a Ferris Wheel, and since Kyle is prepared to meet her death through hyperventilation, she shares with Erika the awkward hike she had with Harry. And the story grows! Apparently, Kyle was not the mere innocent on the receiving end of Harry’s post-reunion vitriol! After Harry told her to control KimKillah of Blue Bunnyville, Kyle demanded Harry control his wife. Erika agrees Kyle needs to confront Lipsa but warns her to tread lightly – after all, Erika knows that Dorit is also planning to vent her frustrations over Lipsa’s poisonous accusations!

Just when I’m thinking they’re all going to be screaming at each other while precariously rocking back and forth 100,000 feet above the Vegas skyline, and I’m wondering why they all wore cocktail attire to be surreptitiously plunged to their deaths, it’s revealed that this Ferris Wheel is actually a giant glass room complete with a bar and lounge. So no one is gonna go overboard, except with the vodka. Although HOW FUNNY would it be if one of them fell off, like Goldie Hawn from Overboard, lost their senses and came-to in one of those trailer parks on the outskirts of Vegas wearing a Walmart T-shirt with Tweety Bird on it? Lipsa could go back to her roots!

Kyle was all prepped to go in for the kill with Lipsa, when Dorit bested her for the first round. It was probably better, because just as Kyle was all panicky and hyped-up over the dreadful Ferris Wheel, only to realize she’d over-reacted, the same thing happened when she told Lipsa about the hike. Instead, she was forced to sit on the sidelines and anxiously watch Dorit and Lipsa’s fight.

Lipsa tried to claim PK had said enough horrid things about her to justify her accusation about coke in Dorit’s bathroom, but that was ridiculous. Miss Own It had some problems owning it, didn’t she. In truth, everything happened so long ago, no one could remember what they were even fighting about. Thankfully Lipsa ate crow and pretty much begged Dorit to give her another chance, which Dorit happily accepted, and all was good. I was more interested in how Dorit’s boobs looked air born, like they were floating above the surface of her body on their own accord.

As a happy Dorit and Lipsa return to the group, Kyle refuses to miss her opportunity. Cause that hike scarred her! It was really traumatic and she needs closure! Kyle needs everyone to hear about the horrible things that Harry did! Yes, we’re back to #WhatHarryDid.

As Kyle begins her tale, Lipsa plops down on the banquet and shrugs that she already knows – of course she does – and apologizes for Harry’s comments. It was a shockingly adult reaction. Perhaps this is the New Lisa?

After everyone survived the Ferris Wheel, Erika observed that things are going too well for comfort. So naturally over drinks, she has to stir things up with Teddi incidentally over father-daughter relationships. Erika seems to have some, I dunno, resentment or issue with Teddi’s dad being famous?

It started like it always does, with ice dildos. More specifically, giant cylinders of ice Erika yanked from her cocktail, fondled like a wiener, and then, taking advantage of her new friendship with Dorit, shoved down Dorit’s top. Frankly, I’d expect the self-described ice queen to prefer diamond dildos, but maybe she saves those for Tom?

When Teddi is describing how her childhood was completely normal, despite her dad, Erika caustically took offense to Teddi trying to be “defined” by her parents. I guess Erika was feeling comfy-cozy after her encounter with the big block of ice, and decided that was the moment to start thawing to the other women by confessing that her father walked out on her at 9 months and she didn’t meet him until she was 25. Erika denies that this was painful and she insists it had nothing to do with her marrying a much-older man. She’s just totally fine, guys!

Teddi is unsettled by Erika’s “too cool” act, and this makes Teddi feel like she has to prove herself. Instead she should make Erika accountable for all her nonsense – cause no one believes what Erika is selling, but it certainly did the job of her nabbing all the daddy issues attention for herself!

The next morning, Teddi confides to Dorit that Erika makes her feel like she’s trying too hard and puts her on her guard. And not just because, once again, Teddi’s shorts are Pat The Puss short! Dorit knows these feelings all too well – after all, it took her an entire year to get inside Erika’s panties veneer and achieve “normal acquaintanceship.”

All of your favorite reality TV stars went all out celebrating Christmas this year and they posted the photos to prove it.

Sisters-in-law Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga had the best holiday photo which paid homage to their iconic Christmas Eve feud holding up boxes of sprinkle and pignoli cookies. I’m happy that they were able to get over that infamous argument and now I will never let go of this photo.

Of course, there were plenty of families oozing (ideals of) perfection with the matching pajamas. Teen Mom star Leah Messer shared a photo of her girls wearing Santa hats with their PJ’s. Lydia McLaughlin matched her husband Doug McLaughlin and their three sons. A newly single Shannon Beador rocked matching red PJ’s with her three daughters. Real Housewives of Orange County alum Heather Dubrow, her husband Terry Dubrow, and their four kids all coordinated their Christmas morning looks.

Real Housewives of New York cast member Tinsley Mortimer and her sister skipped the matching outfits and decided to sport twin french braids (and red bows) with her sister. Vanderpump Rules couple Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright took a humorous approach and both wore sweater dresses. Yes, you read that right: Jax rocked a dress… again.

The reality TV moms posted some sweet photos of their babies celebrating the holiday. Southern Charm’s Cameran Eubanks celebrated her daughter’s first Christmas ever. Million Dollar Listing star Fredrik Eklund and his husband Derek Kaplan had their first Christmas as dads with their newborn twins. Real Housewives of Miami alum Lisa Hochstein shared a photo with her husband Lenny Hochstein and their young son.

And of course, there were plenty of romantic photos. Vicki Gunvalson and her man Steve Lodge enjoyed the holiday together. Real Housewives of Dallas star LeeAnne Locken and fiance Rich Emberlin wore plaid pajamas and snuggled with their dogs. Ryan Serhant and his wife Emilia Bechrakis shared a nice photo in front of the tree.

For the most part, I can’t get enough when it comes to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. On the other hand, there’s a part of me that wants to fast forward through the first couple episodes of the season since nothing new is happening and they are still rehashing drama from last year. I would never do that because I am addicted to this show, but I do want to since I’m ready to move on to new controversies.

Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing what the ladies have been up to and their over the top discussions while they plan looks with their glam squads, but I just need more. Dorit Kemsley still can’t stand Lisa Rinna. She still wants Erika Girardi to open up to her. It’s all valid, but I just need something new to tweet about.

Dorit discussed the first episode of Season 8 in a Bravo blog post. Dorit wrote, “I was delighted to introduce Teddi [Mellencamp Arroyave] to Lisa [Vanderpump] during lunch. Who would’ve thought Teddi would say yes to going to Vegas with us?” Everyone in the production company.

Dorit admitted, “To be honest, when Kyle [Richards] told me she was planning a trip to celebrate my, Erika’s, and Lisa R’s birthdays, I was equal parts grateful, excited, and nervous. With Erika being invited, I thought it might be awkward (it was written all over my face at the airport when she arrived). And in light of Lisa R’s defamatory statements last season, of course I had my reluctance about going on the trip.”

Yeah, but what did she expect? They all signed on to be cast members this season, they all knew that they would be stuck going on trips and attending events together for months. Sure, that doesn’t mean Dorit doesn’t have the right to feel awkward about it, but she cannot be shocked that they were having a cast gathering at the beginning of shooting a reality TV show they all signed up to be a part of.

Dorit continued, “Similarly, my ongoing quarrel with Erika was a tough pill to swallow, because I never meant to hurt her, but as they say, time heals all wounds – and I truly believe it has. Erika and I are now in a good place, and I’m ready to make new memories together.” These two should become friends. I’m all for it. Mostly I’m just being supportive. Another part of me just can’t deal with another season-long argument over something irrelevant.

Dorit wrote, “Getting the glam treatment from my squad was so fun before heading to Kyle and Lisa V’s hotel suite. In my glitzy headband and little black dress, I was ready to have a good time, but when Lisa R walked in, I felt jumpy.” Wouldn’t we all? Rinna is quite the wild card and she is not a fan of Dorit’s, so I don’t blame her for being uncomfortable.

Months after filming, Dorit says, “Something about this season gives me good vibes and I’m optimistic about my relationships with the women.” Who wouldn’t be optimistic when they are providing commentary and “predictions” for events that have already happened? This show was filmed months ago. Of course Dorit has a positive attitude. She knows how it all went down.

Every time that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Carlton Gebbia pops up in the news, it’s never for a good reason. Most people forgot about Carlton’s time as a cast member. She was only on the show for one season and she never even popped up for a cameo appearance after that. Nevertheless, these outrageous news stories always pop up as reminder of her existence.

This time the news is very dark and troubling. A former housekeeper of Carlton’s has thrown some pretty heavy accusations her way and a lawsuit.

According to TMZ, the housekeeper filed a lawsuit against Carlton after working in her home for six years. The housekeeper claimed that the former Real Housewife “was often under the influence of alcohol and repeated physically, verbally and emotionally abusing her, including slapping her.” Wow. If that is all accurate, it’s sad that the housekeeper stuck around for all of that.

What was the finally straw that broke the camel’s back? The housekeeper claims that Carlton attacked her. Supposedly Carlton smashed a TV with a baseball bat so the housekeeper texted Carlton’s (almost ex) husband David Gebbia. Then Carlton “became enraged, yelled at her and pushed her so hard, she fell against the door.” After that she was given two weeks off before she was fired the next month.

Aside from the attack, the housekeeper claims that Carlton attempted to hurt herself and she threw herself out of the second story of her house. As expected, Carlton’s rep had no comment in response to these accusations.

Update: Carlton tells TMZ her side of the story and claims the whole mess is retaliation for Carlton questioning the housekeeper over missing jewelry. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is easing her way into Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills one famous father at a time, but dealing with Erika Girardi hasn’t been easy – in fact, so far it’s been downright icy! Teddi was anticipating this cool reaction, though.

Beginning on a positive: Teddi had a great time in Vegas with most of the girls. “The nightclub and the pool were great opportunities to get to know the women better. I could feel genuine friendships and connections were forming and was excited about it. But with Erika, I felt like I was trying too hard without much reciprocation.” 

Over gambling Teddi learned just how different she and Erika are. “I totally hold myself accountable for being a frugal bitch,” she explains. “Look, I know it sounds ludicrous given who my dad is, but I wasn’t handed a platinum card and shipped to Los Angeles to live the golden life. I struggled as an assistant at an agency and worked my ass off. I will never be that person who blows five thousand dollars at the casino just because I have it. If I wanted to gamble, I would have packed some Virginia Slims and never left the penny slots.” Uh… sounds fun?

However since she came out ahead – in more ways than one – Teddi is taking her winnings to “get myself some fancy pajamas for next time I’m gambling with Dorit and Erika (I must have missed the memo).”

Reiterating that she likes to “observe new people before really diving in, especially a group like these women with so much history and drama, ” Teddi explains why she hung back on the Ferris wheel. “It’s not really my place to comment on what happened in the past because, honestly, what the hell do I know? So on the High Roller, I just watched and took notes. Because I’m definitely gonna need them.”

Teddi was previously “warned” about Erika by Lisa Vanderpump and Dorit Kemsley but insists, “I truly wanted to make my own assessment.” Even though Erika didn’t seem to give her a fair chance in exchange!

“There are times during our trip when I felt dismissed or that my business was being mocked. But I chalked that up to being the new girl and tried to get my insecurities in check,” asserts Teddi. “So when you finally see me try to engage in a meaningful discussion with Erika, whose situation with her father I have true compassion for and merely wanted to open a dialogue between us, I’m not surprised she shuts me down.”

“We see, from Lisa Vanderpump’s relaying of Erika’s text habits to my conversation with Dorit the next morning that Erika isn’t the most welcoming to newcomers, that I shouldn’t be too offended,” Teddi continued in her Bravo blog. “Maybe it was a bad day, maybe she just needs more time to thaw. At this point, I’ll pull back a bit but I won’t judge her solely on this interaction. Besides, she calls herself out as the ‘asshole’ in the situation— which I like to call ‘taking accountability.'”

Maybe everyone needs to just get over Erika, and then she’ll get over herself?

While Kyle Richards was having a good time with her husband Mauricio Umansky and their family in Aspen Colorado, their home in Encino, California was burglarized. Thankfully none of them were home so everyone is safe.

Minus the stolen items, everything in the house remained untouched and unharmed. It seems like thief knew exactly where to find the valuables. It’s possible it was an inside job.

According to a report from TMZ the thief got into the mansion after breaking a window. It is reported that a million dollars worth of jewelry was stolen.

Apparently there is a security system at the Umansky residence, but it was not on when the burglar entered the home. Why wouldn’t it be on? It seems like a pretty logical idea to turn on the alarm while the entire family is out of the house for a vacation. Did someone disable the security system after the family left for their Aspen vacation? Even though the alarm system wasn’t on, the police were able to figure out that the robbery happened at 1:15 AM thanks to a sensor inside the closet.

All signs are pointing to an inside job since a lot of people had access to the mansion during construction. And the big giveaway is that the robber knew exactly where to find the jewelry and the mansion wasn’t ransacked. Not only that, but the family made it very clear that they were away in Aspen on social media. It was the perfect time for someone to sneak onto the premises. As of this moment, neither Kyle nor Mauricio has commented on the burglary.
